PERSONAL STATEMENT

An experienced internet professional and product manager with 20 years academic and work experience in the area. During the course of my career I have worked for myself, for a large commercial registrar and in the education sector giving me a great insight into different working environments. Today I work with large UK domain name registrars helping form sales strategy and increase revenue.

Helping to build a team of like-minded individuals to develop an exciting new registrar with innovative brand protection tools. Netistrar Ltd is a UK-based ICANN accredited wholesale registrar. We have been a Nominet member and Accredited Channel Partner (ACP) since 2013. Netistrar is also a member of the Registrar Stakeholder Group (RrSG) and is involved in ICANN policy development.

Domains Manager – Product Manager for domain related products.
Whilst working for the largest UK domain registrar and hosting provider 123-reg.co.uk I successfully helped launch a number of products including: new country code top level domains (cctlds), Whois Privacy service and new domain name control panel. I also managed the companies 3 million domain name portfolio and dealt with registries and key suppliers on a daily basis.

I developed and trained college staff to use the college virtual leaning environment. I also from scratch designed and developed a brand new college website.
